What does Biff discover behind the water heater and what does he do? What does this reveal about him?

    Biff discover a rubber pipe behind the water heater which is when connected to the nipple of the heater produce some kind of gas which can kill a person when inhaled. This is how Willy is planning to kill himself but as a good son Biff tells Linda to hide the rubber pipe so that Willy's plan to die fails. Linda, as a respectful wife is being supportive but she doesn't want to insult Willy by hiding the pipe. Happy is on Biff's side, he is helping Biff to prevent his dad to die.

    Willy also tries to kill himself by crashing the car. Linda once says to Willy "you didn't smash the car did you?" which tells us that this is not the first time he is doing this, and the second evidence is when the insurance inspector came and said that all these accidents in the last year weren't actually accidents. he tried to smash the car purposely and the evidence is a woman, who saw his car and said that he wasn't driving fast at all, and that he didn't skid. she says that he came to a little bridge , and deliberately smashed the car into the railing, and it was only the shallowness of the water which saved him, or else he would have killed himself.

    Linda reveals that Willy's life is partially on Biff's hand. Willy put his whole life into the 2 kids but now they've turned their backs towards him.

    Willy get really happy after he finds out about Biff's & Happy's plan. Willy ignores Linda alot and doesn't like it when she interrupts him. Biff gets angry at Willy whenever he shouts at Linda.

    Willy has been trying to kill himself in many ways. Biff has decided to stay with his family and Biff's confidence is back as Happy shares an idea of doing a business together and also after knowing that Biff wants to get into business willy is very happy for him
